Course:

Protocols Description and Simulations

The purpose of this practical work is to study tranfert plan of an IP network with notions of traffic multiplexing in a network (i.e. links, nodes, queues), study transport protocols (i.e. UDP, TCP)  and basic operations associated, and to Illustrate concepts of reliability and availabilty.

Note that this course is not a theoretical one. The practical works presented hereafter have to be used in complement for know-how acquisitions.
It is based on a complex simulator which needs a Web client to access a server in ENST Bretagne. The first lesson explains how to use this web client for creating your own networks.
