Limitedavailability group
A limitedavailability group is a group divided into some identical subgroups.
Let us consider a limitedavailability group which is featured in the following
structural parameters (see Figure 11):
 k – number of subgroups in a group,
 f – capacity of a subgroup (the number of channels in the subgroup),
 V – total capacity of the group (
V = k ^{.}
f ).
The system services a call — only when this call can be entirely carried by the
resources of an arbitrary single subgroup.
The states probabilities in the limitedavailability group are approximated by
the generalised KaufmanRoberts recursion (10), where the conditional
probabilities of passing _{i}(n) are calculated by the combinatorial method
presented in the next part of this Lesson.
